FAQ and Redeemer's Wedding Ceremony Agreement

 

Thank you for considering Redeemer Church for your wedding ceremony! It is our pleasure to assist couples as they prepare to enter the state of Christian marriage. Following is information and guidelines to assure that the space is ready for your wedding day and will stay safe, in good repair and be aesthetically pleasing for all couples that follow you as well. Please review carefully:

 

CHURCH FEES 

 

What does it cost to have my wedding at Redeemer?

 

The wedding fee is $1500 (all 2025 weddings).  

This includes the use of the church for your ceremony, 

rehearsal and Wedding Coordinator. Maximum capacity is

250 guests. A non-refundable deposit of $750 is required to

secure the date. The balance due is to be paid no less than

30 days prior to the wedding.

 

OFFICIANT/MUSICIANS 

 

If you require the services of Redeemer’s Pastor

for your ceremony, please let us know as soon

as possible. The suggested honorarium for the

minister is $500 and payable 30 days prior to the

wedding.

 

You may bring in an ordained officiant of your own. We ask that they are ordained through a recognized religious institution. 

 

The use of Redeemer’s piano and organ are included with the wedding fee. Musicians’ fees are separate. Redeemer’s Director of Music and the wedding music coordinator is Jeff Bray. It shall be the primary privilege of the Director of Music to play at weddings scheduled at Redeemer. The services of other musicians may be used with the permission of the Director of Music. 

 

SET UP/DECORATIONS

 

All decorations (flowers arrangements, candles, runner, etc.) must be removed from the sanctuary. Changing rooms should be cleaned and all trash deposited in receptacles. Outside (rented) chairs may not be brought into the sanctuary. Other furniture items you wish to bring in need to be approved by Redeemer’s Wedding Coordinator, Aris Townsend.

 

TIMES

 

Wedding rehearsals of up to one hour in length are encouraged. The ceremony time must be confirmed with the church in advance of completing the agreement. The sanctuary and dressing spaces are available up to two hours prior to the ceremony time, but must be scheduled with the Wedding Coordinator. The florist, photographer and musicians may arrive to set up or rehearse during that time as well. Couples also have one hour following the recessional for photographs and to collect personal items.

 

SAFETY/SECURITY

 

The consumption of alcoholic beverages and smoking are not permitted at any time in the church building.

Exterior doors may not be propped open or left open at any time. All personal items brought in with you for the wedding must go out with you the same day. Redeemer Church is not responsible for any lost, missing or damaged items. Redeemer Church and its officers, members, employees, insurers and successors are not responsible and are released from all claims of personal injury or death occurring on its premises during the dates and times stated in this agreement.
