Jeff Bray, Director of Music

Profile Pic.jpg

Raised in Eastern North Carolina, Jeff first fell in love with church music at his small Catholic Community where he was invited to play piano for an Easter Sunrise service.  He never stopped.   Leaving North Carolina for the University of Notre Dame, Jeff played piano and learned guitar, but found his voice as a tenor in the Notre Dame Folk Choir.   More importantly, he learned foundational principles of the importance of congregational singing at worship.  He eventually found his way to Milwaukee, having met his wife Laura and raised his children Isaac and Selah, all strong singers and musicians themselves.  Jeff is thrilled to be working, praying and playing with the Redeemer community and with Pastor Lisa.

Contact Jeff to discuss how you can get involved in liturgical music as a musician, as a singer in the choir, or just have a song to suggest that we pray with at services.

Humbled and excited by the opportunity to serve as an ordained minister at Redeemer Lutheran, Mark loves the work he gets to do each day.  In late 2017, Mark was surprised by a clear call to ministry.  For the previous twenty years, he worked with faith leaders, teachers and organizers throughout the United States through community organizing efforts from Milwaukee to  Wilmington, DE, to the DC metro area to Bridgeport, CT, to Rosebud, SD, to Tulsa, OK.  All of these experiences informed Mark's sense of faith and God working in the world. Mark graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary in May 2021.

Mark is married to Leigh Anne Fraley,  They have raised three kids, Bayden (21), Isaiah (19), and Ben (17).
